Owner Scott Laymon has a diverse background. Starting as a luxury car technician, he followed his passion to art and building with his speciality lumber milling business. When we made a custom door, table top, countertop, mantle, floating shelves, desktop, and more, he did so with a sustainable sourced log he hand chose, milled, dried, cut, planned, joined, and installed. His experience includes maritime carpentry; he assisted in the remodel of ships used by the navy, National Geographic research vessels, tugboats, and the Coast Guard.

After joining a high-end boutique construction company, he worked on Lake Oswego, building private custom boat docks and aiding in historic restoration of some of Portland’s finest homes.

Scott is now honored to be working in Lake Oswego’s and West Linn’s busiest and most important homes, including yours!
